About the Author Daphne Simpkins lives happily in Montgomery, AL where she was born near the famous garden district of the city, Cloverdale. In addition to writing, Daphne teaches English as an adjunct at a local university and serves on the speakers' bureau of The Alabama Humanities Foundation.
